About Langwith Bassett Hall.
- Set in a beautiful rural location.
- Well equipped kitchen including crockery and utensils for 60 people.
- Table and chairs for 60 people (which you have to set up and put away yourself). Max. 80 standing.
- Disabled access and facilities.
- Outdoor space with picnic benches (big enough for a bouncy castle).
- Small car park for around 15 cars.
Booking Information
- Open 7 days a week (8am – 10pm).
- The standard hire rate is £15 per hour (regular clubs & classes £12 per hour).
- Full payment required by bank transfer or Paypal to confirm booking.
- There is a minimum hire charge of £60 (4 hours) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- The Hall does not have an alcohol licence.
- The Hall does not have WiFi.
- You must not attach anything to the walls.
Important Booking Conditions
- We will try to accommodate any changes to a booking and refund any booking cancelled with at least 4 weeks’ notice, subject to an admin fee.
- Professional sound/music/disco systems are not permitted. A speaker system is provided for use with a mobile device.
- You must respect our neighbours, music must cease by 9.30pm, guests should be considerate when leaving.
- You are required to clear and clean the venue after your event, you must book sufficient time to do this.
- You must dispose of your rubbish and recycling correctly or take it home.
- Any guest causing nuisance or being abusive will not be tolerated.
- The Management Committee hold the right to cease the event immediately upon breach of any of these Terms & Conditions.

Special Bookings Conditions
- Corporate hire rates of £25 an hour apply.
- Special rates apply to regular bookings; even if it looks like your preferred dates/times are not available, please contact us to discuss your plans.
- Special rates apply to Wedding and Funeral bookings; even if it looks like your date isn’t available, please contact us to discuss your plans.
- There is a refundable bond payable for parties/weddings with music, or alcohol, or over 40 people, or if the Hall is booked until 10pm.
Langwith Bassett Hall
The Hall is managed by a Committee, who are all volunteers, on a not-for-profit basis.
The building is leased from Chatsworth Estates and was renovated in 2005.
The lease on the Hall is the Joint responsibility of
The Langwith Society and The Langwith Parochial Church Council.
